Our classroom is a bit different from most 2nd grade classrooms you will find. Our class is fortunate enough to have two teachers in it, full time, to assist students and help them grow both academically and socially. We try to create a classroom community where students learn from us as well as one another. The dynamics in our classroom are interesting, having 8 ESOL students and 6 students who are in special education. These factors make for a great way to teach students how to interact with others who may be different from themselves and what they are used to seeing in their lives.
