My students currently have limited access to technology. What technology is provided is broken, outdated, and missing keys. My students need and deserve technology that allows them to expand their thinking. Currently, it is a requirement that my students spend 90 minutes of class time on laptops that simply do not exist. Students will use the 6 laptops to practice typing, engage in blended learning across curriculum, access appropriately leveled materials based on student need, and increase thinking via web quests. Students will use laptops for research, literacy practice on websites like Lexia, RAZ Kids, and NewsELA, and Math practice on iReady, STMath, and Prodigy.
