Students within our Special Ed department will be working on transition documents. These documents include career brochures, PowerPoints, infographics, pamphlets, etc. Adding a color printer to our learning space will enable students to print these documents to add to their career portfolios as part of their transition goals for their IEPs. Currently, we only have access to a black and white printer, which limits the students in the presentation of their documents. They are also unable to connect to the printer, so it is difficult for them to create the hard copies of their documents. The use of color printers draws attention, piques the interest, and supports creativity.
