These materials will be used to plan effective weekly speech therapy sessions geared towards independent living skills. Planning lessons based upon themes that can corrospond with field studies that reinforce the skill taught is the most effective way of learning for most of my students. These materials address all of the areas that will be taught this school year and serves as a great starting point to introduce the lesson. These materials will give my students real world scenarios that they can reason thorugh in a safe enviroment. This will prepare them for the same scenario if/when it happens in the community. My students will have prior knowledge to build on when faced with social and independent living choices.
