Our students are mostly English language learners. We always encourage their parents and families to read as many books as possible to their children. We would love for them to eventually become ardent readers. One way we can help build the love of reading, is by providing just right books for our students. We would like to build their love of reading by providing them books that they can confidently read on their own and to their loved ones. We would like for students to have these books personally so that each and everyday all students can have at least two books in their possession. Many of our families are low income and by at time financial burdens do not allow for extra materials such as books. By providing these books we have help our students and their families lives by providing materials outside of school so they can continue to learn and grow.
