These books will be a wonderful resource for my language arts and math lessons. I always try to engage my students in new concepts with an interesting activity. The books that I am writing for are not only interesting but also specifically chosen as an exemplary example for the skills that we work on in third grade. The books I have chosen will also help my students engage their background knowledge in learning a new concept. Many students in my classroom are low income. The books can also introduce them to new and excited experiences they otherwise might not encounter.
