Our fourth graders are full of energy...as they should be! As educators, we expect our students to sit for an extended amount of time and complete their best work. Sitting for a long time is tiring! Providing stools that allow our energetic bunch to move appropriately as they are writing, reading, working on projects, and solving math problems will enable them to keep focused and alert. With these stools, our students will be able to move, in an appropriate and non disruptive way, as they learn. Many of our students need to move and take breaks as they acquire new skills. Unfortunately, a traditional classroom is not conducive to that need. This stools will provide a necessary sensory input to those students who require consistent movement throughout their day without pulling them from their work and/or distracting their peers.
