My students need more books on their level to help them feel confident in their abilities as readers so they grow to love reading. This year, my team and I are placing a special focus on how we can ensure our students comprehend what they are reading. Books on their level will allow for students to access the text easily so they can focus on asking and answering questions, creating thinking maps, and summarizing information. The goal is that my students read with greater skill and greater passion, so they can progress both through school and into their bright futures.
