Our school is receiving AMSTI (Alabama Mathematics and Science Technology Initiative) science kits with amazing lessons where students will be given the opportunity to engage, explore, explain, elaborate, and evaluate. Students will use goggles to conduct experiments in the area of earth science. They will investigate weather and climate, plate tectonics, and space science. Without safety goggles, students are not allowed to investigate lessons. Our students have never had the opportunity to explore science the way it should because they've never had a science lab nor hands-on lessons. The AMSTI kits will provide a "science lab" for every classroom. Students must be safe while using the kits, and the safety goggles will help protect them.
