Both adults and children should be given the opportunity to move around to keep their brains active and alert. Sometimes kids just need to "get the wiggles out". By providing flexible seating in my classroom, students will have the opportunity to move while thinking and learning without distracting others or getting off task. Hokki stools can do just that - allow movement and allow students to be active and engaged. I am hopeful that I can get 8 Hokki stools this year. This would allow almost half of my students with the chance to move, wiggle, and shake to help make learning fun every day!
