My Title I school is made up of lower income students from various backgrounds. My third graders are eager to learn and use their computer skills in class but don't often get to use the computer on a daily basis because we only have two computers in our classroom and many do not have computers or any technology at home. Having a class set of Kindles will expand my lessons to engage my students in technology and help them develop their skills as well as using fun activities to keep them motivated to learn. They will be able to keep up with today's technological world and have all of the privileges of other students their age. I intend to use these Kindles in my daily lessons.
