The materials in my classroom will aide in my student's daily success. Students will be able to choose between wobble stools, regular seats with fidget bands attached to the bottom, a seat cushion, or the exercise ball. The students will be given the freedom to choose an appropriate seating option, and expected to meet our classroom rules and expectations for the materials. The furniture in the classroom will become a part of our class culture. My students will be able to use these seating options at desks, in the library, and at our small group table. Giving them these options allows them to take more pride and motivation in their work. It also gives them more opportunities to focus on their learning without distractions. Currently, my students are constantly falling on the floor, and lacking an avenue to exert their energy in the classroom.
