In order to reach more readers, the library needs to be an inspirational place. By offering STEAM activities (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math), readers will have a chance to be in a project based learner-centered environment. As students dive into the STEAM activities, they will naturally want to learn more about the subject. That is where the library comes into play- as a place where research can take place.The resources the students need will be right at their finger tips, from databases to books and magazines. The Fully Loaded Mobile Stem Bundle includes 11 STEM kits for kids in PreK to Second grade. Concepts covered in the kits include engineering through roller coaster design, experimenting with magnets and setting chain reactions. All kits are hands-on and interactive. The rolling cart's versatility allows the students to plan and revise their design using the magnetic write & wipe board on each side. Plus, the cart is on wheels so that it can easily be moved around the library.
