My classroom is a seventh and eighth grade general science class. I have roughly 125 students that learn about earth, life, and physical science. As we transition to the Next Generation Science Standards, I am looking forward to adding more hands-on learning experiences for my students. My class also includes an Applied Science elective where students get to work on projects to solve engineering problems. Projects include: soda bottle rockets, bridge building, skyscrapers, mousetrap racers, hot-air balloons, kite building, marble roller coasters, etc. I hope to add many more projects that involve 3D printing, CAD Design, and computer programing.
