LHS is an ethnically and linguistically diverse school in a low-income community on the outskirts of Baltimore, Maryland. I work here as a math teacher for standard through gifted-and-talented level algebra students. A major teaching goal of mine is to provide my students with engaging, technologically-enriched lessons in order to create a learner-centered and 21st century conscious classroom environment. My students need technology in the classroom in order to interact with mathematics in ways that are meaningful to them.
