Environmental science is important in our community and students will survey our water through lab procedures using test tubes and goggles. Unfortunately students don't have basic lab equipment to accomplish this. Using technology will help us research ways we can use energy from our sun. In our classrooms we do not have any computers to conduct research and we are constantly on a waiting list for the computer lab. We can take it a step further and build models as a class to investigate how solar panels harvest the sun's energy and help us to think about ways to reduce our carbon footprint. Companies like Toms of Maine care about our environment and students at Our school are the leaders of tomorrow and they will also follow in the company's footsteps.
