My students studying evolution and have learned about how fish have many structures similar to those in the human body. This is a great opportunity for them to see the anatomy of a fish and make connections to how the human body evolved from organisms once living in the sea. I would also love for my students to have the opportunity to see how sharks have cartilage rather than bones. By doing a hands on dissection of sharks the students will be able to learn the adaptations of animals necessary to survive in different environments. The students will also see how teeth of sharks and humans are different because they have a different diet.
