My classroom is located at River Oaks Middle School in North Charleston, SC. River Oaks is located in a very diverse area of North Charleston. River Oaks Middle feeds students from four area elementary schools which serves Title 1 students. My students are very diverse ranging from different backgrounds, cultures, and socioeconomic backgrounds. I teach seventh grade English Language Arts. Seventh grade is a critical year for students as they are going through many changes.
