The maps and models will help with understanding the world around us. I will use the maps and globe in Social Studies to figure out where we live. The students will be able to decipher that where we live is so much bigger than just the town that we live in. We will use the solar system model in science to help get a deeper understanding of the whole solar system that our earth is apart of. I will allow the students to write on the maps during social studies and science. By donating to this project, my students will be able to understand their whole world around them by state, country, continent, and planets. The students will be able to collaborate and talk with each other and write on the maps. During Science and Social Studies we will be able to study the different types of landforms by using these maps and models.
