Having boogie boards will help each and every student in a different way. One way these boards will be used is during our morning routine. The students will have a powerpoint displayed in front of them and they will start the day will a phonemic awareness warm up. They will write down beginning sounds, end sounds, middle sounds, etc. when asked. Another way these boards will be used is during center time. The students will be able to choose an activity from the choice board and complete the activity using their vocabulary, spelling words, or sight words for the week. From the choice board they can choose to fancy write, triangle write, abc order, etc. My project will make a different by creating a love for learning and reading! Our classroom does not have technology and what a fun way to add a brand new tool they have never used before.
