I am requesting 6 wobble stools to give my kindergartners additional options for seating in our classroom. Wobble stools are slightly rounded on the bottom, allowing students to rock slightly as they sit and forcing them to use core muscles to balance. They are an excellent choice for students who need to move to stay focused while they work. And let's face it - that describes most kindergartners! I allow my students to make choices whenever possible, and choosing a "just right" seat in one of those areas. The wobble stools will complement other seating options in my classroom, including exercise balls, wiggle seats, and standard chairs.
