Students will be able to have the opportunity to work in the classroom that allows them to give me their best effort. Sitting at the same desk all day is a hard task for an 8 year old. Flexible seating gives my class options to move around and work in an environment that promotes flexibility. Flexible seating gives students the power to choose their appropriate learning space. In my classroom I want to provide choices that provide the most effective learning environment. Some students prefer sitting quietly on the classroom rug with a clipboard while other prefer a standing desk. I have found that when my students are allowed to find their comfortable spot in the classroom it creates an amazing place to work!
