If you want to see some of the hardest working students in Louisiana, look no further! Our class is a community of learners that loves to discover new concepts and develop new ideas. We are a Title I school that and we're extremely proud of our continuous achievement academically, socially, and emotionally. In our classroom, I use the latest strategies, as well as what has worked for me for more than 17 years! My students love activities that are engaging and rigorous and they will stop at nothing to master any problem that they face. They know the importance of a good education and value the skills that they learn at school. I teach higher order thinking skills and allow my students to question each other and themselves. They "think about their thinking". It isn't every day that you see a student who once was shy and struggling, become one of the most confident students you've ever seen.
