As a teacher new to third grade, I know that students at this age thrive with independence and are excited to show all they know. I hope to use them to instill a lifelong passion for reading and create a community where reading is interactive and fun for all involved. These books will expand our library, giving students the chance to interact with texts they have not encountered before. Some books will be used for read alouds, a technique I am passionate about in every classroom. During a season when so many teacher feel stressed with standards and time, I am making a point to incorporate read alouds into our daily practice!

About my class
