I am entering my 4th season as the girls' basketball coach at a small high school in New York. I have been able to see the importance of being part of a team and how it has affected many of my student-athletes' lives. I have also had the privilege to see many of their lives go from bad to great in a matter of a few short years. I cannot begin to explain how much growth I have seen in many of them over the course of only one season. Sports teach these young students so many life lessons, especially teamwork.

About my class
