Flexible seating helps increase student learning by giving them options to choose a comfortable and fun 'seat' for the day. This will be new for my classroom next year and I can't wait to see how the little brains grow and adjust to a new atmosphere. Learning can be fun if we let them choose and be creative. I would love to use the pocket charts as a word wall. I will have one for ELA, one for math, and one for science/social studies. I want to add vocabulary words for the week for the students to use while writing and building words.
