My students will surely benefit from being able to sit in brand new desks that can be adjusted to fit their heights. In addition, the current desks are scratched, marked and rusty. I feel that students need to feel comfortable when they are seated so they can focus on learning. Children in this age group are constantly growing, they are usually taller at the end of the school year. These new desks will also be helpful in creating learning groups because of the flexibility of being able to move them from one place to another without fear of them falling apart.
