I teach at an amazing school with some really amazing kids! They are so excited to be at school and want to learn. Many of my students come from struggling families who can't provide the simple things like pencils and paper. For most of my kids English is their second language. Their families speak Spanish, Arabic and American Sign Language. Many of them struggle with vocabulary. We stop many times throughout each day to discuss a words meaning or look up pictures online. I want to provide life experiences and hands on materials for my students that they would not receive otherwise. I want to foster their desire to learn and explore while in school and when at home.
