Flexible seating gives students a choice in what kind of learning space works best for them as learners. It also helps them to work collaboratively, communicate, and engage in critical thinking. I want my student to be happier and more engaged in the classroom. I want students to feel empowered by choice and own their learning. The idea is to create a more comfortable environment by adding ball chairs and cushions that helps my students be their best learning self. My goal is to create a student-centered environment. Research shows that student-centered environments are successful. Putting kids in control of their own learning in a world where my students often have no control in their home life.
