The strings on a string instrument are a vital part of a student's success. Strings wear out over time with continued use, making the instruments more difficult and frustrating to play. New strings allow students to get better faster, and have more joy in their music making. Our school owned instruments are used by multiple students each day, and many of the strings have not been replaced in over a decade; well past the recommended yearly replacement. As school budgets have been cut, so has the funding for the yearly maintenance for our instruments. Students work hard to raise as much money as possible, but we need your help. I am asking for twenty-seven Zyex Series Violin String Sets to refurbush our violins.
