I want to customize my classroom in a way that is most conducive to my students learning. Not all students learn best by sitting in a chair. During this last year, I tested out some of my ideas for students that need to stand in class by using using a large filing cabinet as a desk for a student that needed to stand. Two different students used the cabinet, one from each class I taught. The results were outstanding. They could finally focus better. The standing desks allow my students the flexibility to learn in a way that best suits them. I would like to increase my ability to provide these alternate desk types. The bouncy bands will allow my students to move their feet while sitting in a chair.
