I try to make my classroom as engaging as possible to help my students become more independent and self guided learners. This year I will be teaching math and science ito 6th grade students. The whiteboards will really help me to practice some of these more difficult math problems with the students in a one on one setting. The calculators will be very basic to help them with simple math while doing larger more complex problems. The science materials will help me to create many more hands on and engaging activities for my class so they can get real world experience working with lab equipment and cooperative learning.
