This project is to build science literacy in my students. I hope that with the purchase of the classroom set of "The Disappearing Spoon" that I can build this book into my content and create student interest and curiosity about Science. The additional books are to add to my existing library of science, especially Chemistry books that are available for my students in the classroom. My students have a large variance of demographics and needs. I hope that having different lexile levels of books for the students, especially building STEM, that I can help mold more scientists for our future. I also think that by using the various resources students will be able to read informational text and have a proficient comprehension by using these materials.
