The classroom is our home away from home. I want to provide my students with a comfortable and safe place to learn. The school day is busy and the rigor of the curriculum is fast paced. I believe that in order for my students to learn to the best of their ability they have to enjoy school and enjoy where they are. I tell my students all the time, "Your manners and how you conduct yourself means just as much to me as how you succeed academically." Students who come from homes that are not stable or as supportive as we want, are looking for reassurance, guidance, love, and compassion. In order for them to want to succeed this encouragement needs to come from me. It's my job to build them up as best as I can so they can start to become self-motivated and want to succeed. Students at MES are AMAZING, our principal is caring and supportive, and the teachers are the absolute best! I'm truly blessed! Go Mustangs!
