Our kindergarten class thrives on learning through play. Our students develop lifelong skills through interactions of pretend play, building, creating, sharing and working together. Giving students the opportunity to learn through play allows them to discover, solve problems and socialize all on their own. We will utilize these materials everyday, offering time to freely discover, build, work together, share and have fun. Students will work in small groups centers with Lincoln logs, blocks, tiles and marbles. We will definitely use the pencil sharpener on a daily basis as well. Our school provides handheld sharpeners that quickly break and wear out quickly. We are in need of a mechanical pencil sharpener as our students use pencils rigorously, and go through too many to sharpen by hand daily. We appreciate you supporting our learning through play project!
