In order to create a more student driven and 21st century classroom, the iPads will be crucial in allowing the students to integrate all that educational technology has to offer. The iPad makes learning mobile and will allow the students to explore not only in our classroom but outside too. Students can use a green screen app to create videos and movies as an assessment option to showcase what they know. Most of the programs we currently use on Chromebooks and laptops are also available on iPads which means more students have access to our programs. The use of IPads enhances the learning experience for students. Apps, such as Kahoot! and Plickers, allow me to quickly assess students without the use of standard paper and pencil tests. I rely heavily on Google Classroom to assign a variety of work and projects for students. I have created Google Playlists that differentiate learning and reviewing concepts taught. More students will be able to access these assignments with the IPads.
