A document camera will provide enriching experiences to support my students every day. Visual experiences increase student attention in my classroom. I can model tasks and assignments, show 3-dimensional items to build upon background knowledge, as well as enlarge text for students with visual impairments. I can display student work, edit and revise as a group, use peer models for tasks, and display books as I read them aloud. This use of technology can support early reading intervention for phonemic awareness such as word building with letters, sound/letter manipulations, and sight word instruction. Math instruction is more engaging with the use of modeling manipulative with this camera. Your generous donations will support my students in so many meaningful ways.
