One thing about building a program is looking the part. Our kids need new warm ups for the upcoming season. Wrestling is a sport that pushes students in many ways. One way it has helped our kids the most is it has kept them out of trouble. We had no suspension or in school suspensions, and we had very few detentions. We also had very few kids that were academically ineligible. In a few words, our kids are performing well in the classroom and staying out of trouble. As the head coach of the wrestling team I believe it is more important to grow as a person and learn the many great life lessons that being a student athlete offers, rather than just seek state championships.
