This year, I instituted "Soft-Start Centers" in my classroom. Each week, the students worked on three activities that strengthened their creative thinking, problem solving, STEM skills, literacy, and art skills among many others. Since we have been doing distance learning, the students have been asking how we can still do our Soft-Start Centers. I would like to try instituting online activities with the supplies, as well as possibly loaning out our games if restrictions lessen before the end of the school year. My students would be so grateful to continue their creative problem solving activities from home.
