Getting high-quality, high-interest books into the hands of our English Language Learners is critical! According to Research, students who often lack access to books during the summer are most likely to fall behind their peers and lose 2-3 months of reading development. Our ELLS have difficulty accessing the same resources as their peers, which hinders their ability to read and practice their language skills over the summer. This project would allow for our students to get books to continue to grow their brains over the summer. These books would give our ELLs access to rich language and vocabulary. Please consider donating today to give the opportunity to our ELLs to read and grow their love for literacy!
