Because I have many students that are distracted, and constantly want to bring fidget spinners, and cubes to class. I wanted to find a way to allow them to fidget or wobble, but do it hands-free, so it does not distract from the students' attention. The wobble chair does this perfectly. My students will be more engaged and will have the satisfaction of releasing some of their energy. I hope to see the greatest difference in the students writing time. I can see these chairs greatly reducing the distraction of students, and I anticipate a quieter classroom during important focus times such as these. I also have not requested as many chairs as students that need them, this will allow me to use these chairs on an incentive program and reward for my students. As I attempt to prepare my students for 7th grade writing is becoming increasingly important. So these chairs really have the potential to change habits of students. Possibly even those they felt were at one time they thought were beyond their reach.
