The project that we are working on was titled Storage for Spanish Compositions. The reason being is that I service 160 students at a high school that offers no lockers or storage space for students. Therefore, students are constantly losing valuable pieces of writing. Since most students are freshmen, they are still learning organizational skills, which is a pivotal strategy of the Six Traits Writing Program. With the use of a filing cabinet, the students will not have to carry their composition files, but they can be stored and accessed in the classroom during writing. This will provide them organization to have all their writing materials in one place for easy access. The file cabinet will provide adequate space for storing student composition writing samples. It will prevent loss of student writing and provide better documentation as students develop their writing pieces.
