“Individual commitment to a group effort - that is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work” -Vince Lombardi I want my athletes to have every opportunity to achieve their full potential in the sport of football. The goal of my program is to push these student-athletes on to the collegiate level where they will be able to come out with a degree and have a better life for themselves and their future families. I and the other assistant coaches have funded the majority of the team’s equipment, jerseys, and other various bills along the way. The weight room however is severely underfunded, most of the equipment is either broken, on its last legs, or was here when the school opened up ages ago. The weight room equipment will allow myself and the coaching staff to take the team to the next level. We have the knowledge as coaches and our athletes have the desire, we just need the equipment.
