My project will increase student achievement through learning hands-on manipulation of interactive lessons. I plan to allow students to take the tablets home while they are mandated to stay home due to COVID19 symptoms. They will practice letters and sounds as well as increase vocabulary development, which are precursors to reading. Studies show that if students lack these foundational skills, they will struggle most of their academic careers. So if my students are home, they can still learn and practice while keeping others safe by not coming to school and spreading germs.
