I am requesting new tables and chairs. New tables and chairs will give a facelift to an old library and make the library more inviting for the students of the school. The students at my school have never had an updated library. They had old bookcases, broken tables and big bulky chairs. These bookcases, tables and chairs look like they were at the school since it opened in the early 1900s. I have just recently taken this position and hope to bring the love of a good library back to the minds of my students. This project will allow students to be creative and roll out their imaginations. It will open the doors to success on standardized testing! A library should be a place that allows students to be creative, innovative, and successful and a place of discovering where they can go in the few pages of a book!
