Many times ten year old students have trouble focusing and completing their work. The addition of flexible seating to my classroom will help students stay engaged! Movement is important in the classroom! Students will be able to sit on wobble stools at the teacher table. These seats allow students to move while remaining focused on the lesson. They will also be able to use stability balls at the computer station and in the reading area. Yoga cushions will give students a quiet relaxing place to enjoy books and other reading activities. These resources will not only make learning fun but allow students to reach their maximum potential in the classroom. Alternate seating has been proven to help students stay on task during the school day. My students will not only love the new additions to our classroom they will continue to love learning!
