Story Wands - I want to use the Story Wands during small group instruction to add some engagement. I can use them after reading a story with them to aid them in retelling the story and going over the story elements. What's Happening Cards - I think these would be great to support vocabulary development and comprehension skills. I can see many uses for these in both small group and whole group instruction and even during literacy stations. I can see students at the beginning of the year just telling a story orally about the picture and then later in the year using the pictures to write a story. Story Telling Box - This is a fun and engaging item that would add creativity to a writing station.
