My students will be able to use the easel as a hands on learning tool to maximize learning and engagement. This will be on their eye level and will help them explore the world of letters, words and numbers. They will work on letter identification, sight words, spelling, writing, punctuation, etc. We will do Daily Morning Messages in which students will have hands on opportunities to focus on skills to promote literacy and numeracy. This easel will be used throughout the day both in large groups and students will have independent access during classroom center time. It will also serve as a place to develop charts and other learning tools together.

About my class
