About my class

These materials will help my students by giving them more options on where they will sit and work. Instead of sitting in uncomfortable desks or nothing being able to fidget, my students will be able to wiggle, sit in a more comfortable chair, or whatever best fits their learning needs. There is a lot of research about the power of choice and having these choices will help my students feel more in control of their learning. A lot of special education students get this type of seating in the special education room, but not out in the regular education rooms. I would like to extend that environment not only for those students, but the students who do not ever have that type of options in any classrooms. This flexible seating will help me create an environment where students want to be in school and hopefully foster spark a love for learning within my students.
