My students need these art supplies in order to do weekly inquiry based projects required by the International Baccalaureate curriculum. They enjoy these projects very much and it really helps develop the topics we study throughout the week for Reading, Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies. These projects are hands-on and give the students an ability to improve my students independent skills. These projects also allow the students to learn to work with others as well. Many of my students enjoy this time because they don't get this opportunity at home. I asked for glue sticks, pencils, markers, crayons because these are things we use everyday to create these projects. Tissue paper, paper plates, construction paper are items we use to put together projects for our plants lessons, fairy tale lessons and other topics we learn. These projects are important to create a well rounded experience for these students.
